D&G Summer Dresses: A Totally Unorganized Brain Dump
So, D&G, right? Dolce & Gabbana. First thing that pops into my head is…expensive. Like, ridiculously expensive. Summer dresses? Even MORE expensive. We’re probably talking about stuff that costs more than my rent for, like, half a year. Sheesh.
Okay, so what *is* a summer dress anyway? I guess it’s something light, airy, maybe floral… think June, July, August vibes, right? Like, what those month things from that first bit. (Where was I going with this…?)
Now, I’m just imagining someone rocking a D&G summer dress. Is it some influencer on Insta? Probably. Maybe they’re in Venice, ’cause Italy is, you know, very D&G. Or maybe they’re just at some fancy brunch spot in, like, Beverly Hills. Me? I’d probably spill coffee on it within five minutes. Seriously, I have a talent for ruining nice things.
And then I start thinking about “references.” What even *is* a reference? Is a D&G summer dress a reference to Italian culture? To wealth? To, uh, the 90s? (That’s when they were *really* big, weren’t they? Or am I misremembering? Maybe I need that DirectX thing to fix my brain… nah, probably not.)
Actually, the whole “what is a reference” thing kinda reminds me of that image search thing from Baidu. You could, like, take a picture of the dress and search for similar ones. Or, even better, search for knockoffs! (Don’t tell D&G I said that…)
Honestly, I’m not even sure where I’m going with this. This is less of an article and more of a stream of consciousness.
Okay, back to the dresses. Let’s be real, who actually *needs* a D&G summer dress? Nobody, really. But do people *want* them? Oh, absolutely. It’s that whole luxury thing, isn’t it? The status symbol. The “look at me, I can afford this ridiculously priced piece of fabric” vibe.
And, ugh, car brands kinda fit into that too. Like, a D&G summer dress is the equivalent of a fancy car. What car? Probably some Italian sports car. Or maybe a… Land Rover? I don’t know. My brain is starting to hurt.
Maybe I need to go back to that article about setting up D and E drives on my computer. At least *that* makes a little bit of sense.
So, yeah, D&G summer dresses. Pretty, expensive, and totally not something I’ll be buying anytime soon. Maybe I’ll just stick to my Target sundresses. They’re less likely to get coffee spilled on them… and easier on the wallet. And if I *really* want to feel fancy, I can look at pictures of D&G dresses online. Maybe I can even find a knockoff on Pinduoduo… *evil laugh*
